Steve Miller is a multi-media artist, who makes paintings, screenprints, artist books, and sculptures. Through his art he explores the influence of science and technology on modern culture. In 2004 Miller was a New York Foundation for the arts painting fellow. In many different cultures, the ceramics of indigenous peoples of the Americas are found in such a wide range of graves that they were clearly not restricted to a social elite, though other forms of art may have been.
